Gordon Barnhart

Gordon Barnhart was Saskatchewan's 20th Lieutenant Governor, and is currently the president of the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA).

Host Dale Richardson speaks to Dr. Barnhart about his life and impressive public service career, including serving as: the youngest Clerk of the Saskatchewan Legislature; Clerk of the Senate of Canada; Secretary of the University of Saskatchewan; Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan; interim president of the University of Saskatchewan; and now as a town councillor for the Town of Saltcoats and president of SUMA. They also discuss Dr. Barnhart's important work as a historian, including his biography of Saskatchewan's first premier, Walter Scott.
